Description
Normal Saline (0.9% w/v sodium chloride) is the most widely used isotonic solution in clinical practice. Swanya fills it in 10 ml single-use FFS vials with an in-built twist-off cap — a convenient, unit-dose presentation for diluting drugs, wetting dressings and flushing lines.
The solution is compounded in Swanya's clear-solution manufacturing area in batch sizes from 500 L to 2,500 L using Water for Injection, sterile-filtered with online filter integrity testing and filled on Form-Fill-Seal machines that form, fill and seal every vial in a closed cycle.
Batches are tested in-house for assay, pH, osmolality, bacterial endotoxins, sterility and particulate matter before release.
